New Species Of Nudibranch Found in Cambodia
Monday, 31 August 2009 13:14

We have just discovered an unrecognised and undiscovered species of Nudibranch here in Cambodia.

Whilst on a research trip to the north end of Koh Rong our team of scuba divers and researchers found an amazing site with a huge biodiversity of species. During the course of one survey dive Paul Ferber discovered and photographed an unknown nudibranch.

We sent the photograph to Neville coleman who has identified it as an undescribed species. Quoted. "As far as I can determine, this is unknown and is an undescribed species. I've never seen anything like it."

The picture below can be seen on Neville Coleman's website World of Water.

It will also be published in the identification section of next months Sport Diving Magazine and will hopefully feature in Asian Diver Magazine.
